kidSCOPE is an art therapy centre located in El Viso, a residential neighbourhood in Madrid, Spain. The project is designed for children aged 6 to 12 and proposes a new model of extracurricular space, where artistic activities are used as a guided tool for self-expression, emotional awareness and personal growth. Rather than functioning as a conventional after-school centre, kidSCOPE combines visual arts, drama, music and bibliotherapy within an inclusive environment. The aim is to create a space where children can explore creativity while learning to understand themselves, relate to others and participate at their own rhythm. The project transforms an existing building into a contemporary centre for artistic development and collective participation. Through flexible rooms, sensory regulation spaces and shared creative areas, kidSCOPE supports both individual reflection and group interaction. Its main objective is to offer children a safe and stimulating environment where creativity becomes a way of building confidence, autonomy and connection with others.
