El Proyecto ÁUREA nace de la labor científica llevada a cabo por un equipo de investigación cuyo objetivo es hallar el algoritmo que la naturaleza utiliza para la creación de sus formas, el mismo con el que la naturaleza genera la belleza de sus diseños. Este descubrimiento científico permitirá, en última instancia, por medio de una aplicación algorítmica, replicar la belleza natural de forma artificial en los campos del arte, la arquitectura y el diseño. En consonancia con dicho proyecto, el objetivo de este trabajo fin de grado será la investigación y propuesta de un sistema de maquetación editorial (posteriormente aplicable a otros campos del diseño) centrado en la utilización de la proporción áurea como clave para la construcción visual, ya que ésta es concebida como una abstracción de la propia naturaleza. Para ello, el trabajo se ha orientado hacia la investigación de los diferentes usos que ha tenido la proporción áurea en el diseño gráfico hasta la actualidad. Como resultado se han obtenido unas conclusiones que se aplicarán, en este proyecto, a la realización y diseño de una propuesta de identidad gráfica y editorial acorde con los objetivos del Proyecto ÁUREA. Finalmente, como aplicación práctica de la investigación realizada, se ejecutarán algunas piezas gráficas para la comunicación del Proyecto ÁUREA, tales como el naming y el logo del proyecto, una maqueta del libro explicativo de los fundamentos científicos del proyecto y los resultados del mismo, una página web, un vídeo corporativo y piezas de merchandising.

The Project ÁUREA is born from the scientific research carried out by an investigation team whose objective is to find the algorithm that nature uses to create its shapes and structures, the same with which nature generates the beauty of its designs. This scientific discovery will allow us, eventually, by means of an algorithmic application, to replicate natural beauty in an artificial form in the fields of art, architecture and design. In line with the project, the objective of it will be the research and proposal of an editorial design system (thereafter applicable to other fields of design) based on the use of the golden mean as the key for visual composition, as it is known as an abstraction of nature itself. For this, the project has been oriented towards the investigation of the different uses that has had the golden mean in graphical design to the present day. As a result, conclusions reached will be applied, in this project, to the accomplishment and design of a proposal with a graphical and visual identity in accordance with the objectives of the Project ÁUREA. Finally, as a practical implementation of the research carried out, some graphical pieces will be executed for the communication of the Project ÁUREA, such as the naming and the logo of the project, a model of the explanatory book of the scientific foundations of the project and the results of it, a website, a corporative video and merchandising pieces.
