Este proyecto consiste en la creación y producción de una webserie para YouTube, la cual se realizará de una manera muy distinta a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver en la plataforma digital. Para esta memoria se presentará el guión, storyboard y la grabación, producción y postproducción del primer capítulo piloto de la misma. La serie estará acorde con las exigencias de consumo de las nuevas generaciones. Este proyecto es más que una simple serie, es un trabajo inspirado principalmente en el conocido manifiesto, del diseñador gráfico Ken Garland, llamado First Things First, donde revaloriza el trabajo del diseñador gráfico.

Es importante destacar que la webserie se intentará llevar a cabo a lo largo de mi futuro profesional, y lograr llevar a YouTube un contenido más profesional y adecuado en un medio que poco a poco reemplazará a la televisión. Está dirigida a todos aquellos jóvenes que consumen diariamente contenido en YouTube, con el objetivo de crear un contenido más sofisticado, educativo y apropiado al que se consume habitualmente en esta plataforma. También trato de experimentar con el lenguaje gráfico motivado por una corriente filosófica llamada hermenéutica.

The aim of this project is create and bring out a web series for YouTube. this will be done in a very different way from what we used to see on this digital platform. The script, storyboard, recording, production and postproduction for the first chapter pilot will be presented in this work. The series will be in line with the demands of the new generation consumers. This project pretends to be more than a series, it’s an inspired job based in the wellknown manifesto by graphic designer Ken Garland, called First Things First, where he revaluate the graphic designer’s work.

It is important to note that the web series will be developed during my professional live, trying to bring to YouTube a more professional content and more suitable for a medium that will gradually replace the Television. This series is addressed to all those young people who consume daily content on YouTube with the aim of creating a content more sophisticated, educational and appropriate for this platform.I’m also trying to experiment with graphic language that comes from a philosophical linecalled hermeneutics.
