Description
The interior spaces are designed to reflect the identity and values of the mountannering clubs and the wider culture of climbing and mountain sports. Through both materiality and atmosphere, the project seeks to create an environment strongly connected to the experience of mountaineering and the community it supports. Elements such as tensioned ropes, climbing cords, carabiners, metal details, and topographic elements reference the equipment commonly associated with climbing and alpine activities. The overall aesthetic is clean and functional, with restrained use of colour inspired by the visibility of climbers against rocky mountain landscapes. Together, these spaces reinforce the identity of the climbing centre as both a climbing facility and a social hub for the mountain sports community connected to the FMM and its affiliated clubs.
