El cambio climático es un problema que afecta a toda la población a nivel mundial, y por mucho que los medios de comunicación intenten alertar sobre sus peligros, en ocasiones resultan problemas lejanos e indiferentes para la población.

En gran medida esto se debe al desconocimiento de la importancia que tiene el equilibrio de la vida en la Tierra y de cómo nos puede afectar directamente. Los ecosistemas marinos son los que más sufren este cambio climático y mayor riesgo corren y de ellos depende nuestra supervivencia de forma directa.

Breathing Ocean surge para acercar este problema a la población, haciéndolos conscientes de la importancia y la dependencia que tenemos los seres humanos del correcto funcionamiento del océano. Es por tanto una herramienta de visibilización y concienciación de las riquezas naturales que tenemos en los mares y océanos de nuestro país y la necesidad de protegerlos y tomar medidas para conservarlos antes de que sea tarde. Teniendo como objetivo llegar al público joven, deportistas acuáticos y subacuáticos se emplean las redes sociales como herramienta de difusión de información de forma gratuita, rápida y asequible para todos.

Climate change is a problem that affects the entire population worldwide, and no matter how much the media tries to warn about its dangers, sometimes they are distant and indifferent problems for the population.

In certain way this is due to ignorance of the importance of the balance of life on Earth and how it can directly affect us. Marine ecosystems are the ones that suffer the most from this climate change and are most at risk and our survival directly depends on them.

Breathing Ocean comes to approach this problem to the population, making them conscious about the importance and dependance that humans have from the correct functioning of the ocean. It is therefore a tool for raising awareness of the natural resources that we have in the seas and oceans of our country and the need to protect them and take measures to conserve them before it is too late. With the objective of reaching the young public, aquatic and underwater athletes, social networks are used as a tool for the dissemination of information in a free, fast and affordable way for all.
