Este proyecto es una ventana al mundo artesanal, en concreto una plataforma para dar apoyo a los artistas apasionados por el mundo de lo artesano. En este caso, personas que se dedican a la creación de piezas mediante tufting, una técnica generalmente de elaboración de alfombras, relativamente nueva en Europa, concretamente en nuestro país. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo dar a conocer este mundo y a los artistas que hay detrás de él, a través de una plataforma, una página web donde los diferentes creadores podrán exponer sus obras y hacerlas llegar a todos los clientes posibles. Se trata de una iniciativa para dar apoyo a artistas, sobre todo emergentes, que necesitan conseguir la mayor visibilidad para su obra, teniendo la posibilidad de compartir sus piezas en una plataforma donde se da a conocer el trabajo que realizan día a día. Actualmente está volviendo todo lo artesanal y se da un mayor valor a lo hecho a mano, esto ha creado una corriente y con ella la necesidad de dar apoyo a estos artistas. Además, al surgir un nuevo interés en este tipo de técnica y los diferentes productos que se pueden realizar con ella, la plataforma desarrollada en este proyecto aporta a las personas interesadas en este movimiento conocer más de ello y ver ejemplos de lo que se puede lograr mediante el proceso de tufting.

This project is a window to the artisan world. Actually, it is a platform to support artists who are passionate about the artisan world. In particular, to support the artisans who are dedicated to the creation of pieces by tufting, a technique for making rugs relatively new in Europe, and especially in our country. This project aims to show this technique, and the artisans behind it, through a platform, a web page where different creators can exhibit their products and make them reach all possible markets. This is an initiative to support artists, in especial emerging ones who need to achieve greater visibility for their work, having the possibility of sharing their pieces on a platform where their daily work is shown. Currently, everything is artisanal and hand made products have their own added value, what has created a trend and indeed the necessity to support these artists. In addition, when a new interest arises with regard to this type of technique and its products, the platform developed in this project allows people interested in this movement to know more about it and see real products of what we can do through the tufting technique.
